In-Person Gatherings

Legacy In-Person Gatherings Update

Our plan is to begin holding in-person services on Sunday, June 28, with reduced capacity and recommended distancing guidelines in place. Our two Sunday morning services [9 am & 11 am] will be limited to one hour each, with one hour in between services to allow cleaning of all areas accessed during the previous service. Consistent with Governor Lamont's Executive Order, these services will be limited to 100 people per service time. This limit on attendees will last until the Governor raises the limit on indoor gatherings for religious services.

Your spiritual and physical health are our highest priorities. Legacy Church will continue to live stream our church services for those who may not feel comfortable returning to the church at this time. In keeping with the CDC guidelines, we would advise those in our church family who are the most vulnerable, our elderly, those with pre-existing conditions, or those who are immune-compromised to please continue to worship with us online for a season. We’ll continue to provide quality online content now and forever for anyone who prefers to pray and worship at home.

We will continue to monitor this situation and reevaluate our timeline on a weekly basis. We are prepared to make adjustments as needed should things change. We look forward to being with you again soon.

Below are more details. We love you and we are praying for you!

Children & Families

Legacy Kids has resumed meeting in-person! Our elementary-age services (grades K-5) are open for the 9:00 a.m. service time and we are excited to have the kids back with us. In keeping with state guidelines, all children are socially distanced within their family groups and all children are required to wear masks during the service.

Regretfully, Legacy Nursery (ages 0-4 years) is not available at this time. This is a ministry we value highly, but due to the unique challenges of managing a safe and healthy environment for our smallest children, we must continue to suspend Legacy Nursery until further notice. Our leadership is consistently considering the ability for us to resume this service and will continue to update Legacy Church on our timing.

To provide accommodation for families with small children, a Family Room is available. This space will be reserved for parents that need to step out of the auditorium with their children. Parents are asked to stay with their children in the designated area, making sure that the church's social distancing guidelines are observed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Prayer is our first response, not our last resort. We’re comforted and empowered knowing we serve a miracle-working God who is an ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and show you how to pray for those on the front lines, at high risk, and in great need.

We’d love to pray for you and your needs. Let us know what you need prayer for by completing our Prayer Request form and our prayer team will pray for you specifically throughout the week.

Our monthly prayer service is held every first Friday of the month from 7:00 - 8:00pm, and we’d love for you to join us. You can find out meeting details on our Events page.

Serve & Give

If you’re in a position to be able to serve either in-person or online, that's great! If you are already part of our Dream Team, we'll be in contact soon. If you haven't completed the Growth Track and joined the Dream Team yet, you can jump in now. Get more details here.

Because of your generosity, we’re able to operate our finances in a way that allows us to give without hesitation in times of need and crisis. That’s exactly what we’re doing now and will continue to do. If you feel led to financially be a part of our COVID-19 outreach efforts, you may give here and select the "COVID-19 Family Relief Fund".

Be Encouraged

While we exercise wisdom in keeping ourselves and our loved ones safe, we know that divine health and protection is from Jesus. Let’s continue to trust in His promises of protection in Psalm 91 for ourselves, our families, and all those who are affected by illness and pray that the virus will be contained and conquered.

"Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling."

Psalm 91:9–10 (NKJV)
