Welcome To Your New Church Home
Welcome From Our Pastors
Are you meeting in person?
We are now holding services both in-person and online.
- In-Person Gatherings: We are taking every precaution with our in-person services. Our two Sunday morning services [9:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.] will be limited to one hour each with one hour in between services to allow cleaning of all areas accessed during the previous service. Social distancing and masks are required and services will be limited to 100 people per service time. For more information on safety precautions and what in-person services look like, click here.
- Church Online: Your spiritual and physical health are our highest priorities. Legacy Church will continue to live stream our church services for those who may not feel comfortable returning to physical church at this time. In keeping with the CDC guidelines, we would advise those in our church family who are the most vulnerable, our elderly, those with pre-existing conditions, or those who are immune-compromised to please continue to worship with us online for a season. We’ll continue to provide quality online content now and forever for anyone who prefers to pray and worship at home. You can attend our Livestream services at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. each Sunday by clicking here.
When did your church start?
The Legacy Church Farmington campus was launched in March 2014, but the process began years earlier in the hearts of our pastors. Eric and Melissa have long carried a desire to pastor a vibrant, Spirit-filled church: a cross-cultural, cross-generational community that loves Jesus, embraces the Holy Spirit, and empowers people to make a Godly impact in every sphere of life.
When do I need to get there?
This is different for everyone. If you’re the kind of person who wants to get settled in before the service begins, it is a good idea to arrive about ten minutes early. If you are more comfortable being fashionably late, that’s all right too! We still recommend arriving by the start of the service [9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.] so that you don’t miss out.
What's a service like?
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing practices are in place and we do require everyone over two years old to wear a mask when attending an in-person service. We will have adult-sized masks available at the doors if you need one. For more information on these and other safety precautions, click here. You can even watch a virtual walkthrough!
Walk through our doors and you’ll meet people from all walks of life and from all corners of the earth. We’re truly a multi-cultural and cross-generational family, one that values the history, perspective, and unique insights of every generation. Legacy Church is built on a passion for and pursuit of God’s presence. Every week we will begin with music and singing - worship. Worship is simply our expression of our love for God and our declaration of who He is. We worship with passion, faith, and expectation.
Each Sunday, a member of our teaching team will also share a practical, relevant message that unpacks the truth of Scripture and how it applies to every facet of your life. You’ll hear the redemptive message of the gospel, find your place in God’s unfolding plan, and be inspired to live out your faith in a way that reveals Him to those around you.
What's available for my kids?
Legacy Kids has resumed meeting in-person! Our elementary-age services (grades K-5) are open for the 9:00 a.m. service time and we are excited to have the kids back with us. In keeping with state guidelines, all children are socially distanced within their family groups and all children are required to wear masks during the service.
Your kids are as important to us as our own. That is why, regretfully, Legacy Nursery (ages 0-4 years) will not be available at this time. This is a ministry we value highly, but due to the unique challenges of managing a safe and healthy environment for our smallest children, we must continue to suspend Legacy Nursery until further notice. Our leadership is consistently considering the ability for us to resume this service and will continue to update Legacy Church on our timing.
To provide accommodation for families with small children, a Family Room is available. This space will be reserved for parents that need to step out of the auditorium with their children. Parents are asked to stay with their children in the designated area, making sure that the church's social distancing guidelines are observed.
Legacy Youth [grades 6-12], meets every 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month during the 9am service. You can get more information on upcoming events here.
Where do I park?
We meet at the Irving A Robbins Middle School in Farmington. When entering the school grounds, look for the large parking lot by the field. To help separate people as they arrive and walk from their cars into the building (due to the current social distancing guidelines) we ask that you park with one parking space separating you from any other vehicles. Walk towards the patio area and the room with all of the windows and follow the signs to the main entrance. Once you are inside the building, our internal signage will guide you to the auditorium where we meet.
What should I wear?
We want you to be comfortable, and you are invited to come as you are. Most of Legacy dress casual or business casual. Whether you prefer a suit or jeans and a t-shirt, you are welcome at Legacy Church.
During the current health crisis, we do require everyone over two years old to wear a mask when attending in-person services. We will have adult-sized masks available at the doors if you need one. For more information on these and other safety precautions, click here.
What do you believe?
We’re here to help people know God, find freedom, discover their purpose, and make a difference. We keep our focus simple so we can have the biggest impact possible. Everything we do as a church is filtered through our focus on helping every person live the full life for which God created all of us. For more information, take a look at our Statement of Faith.
