From the beginning of Legacy Church, we have made it a priority to seek God first in prayer. We do this collectively as a church in January and September through 21 Days of Prayer. These two months are intentional, as they begin new seasons of the year. We know that when we take the time to seek God intentionally, God reveals His heart and changes ours. These 21 days are important for laying a solid foundation for the season ahead by putting God first and trusting him. Join us as we intentionally seek God in prayer and believe for Him to move abundantly above our expectations. We invite everyone to participate and even fast if you are called and able. We ask each one to pray for your own spiritual life and development, our church, and our nation.
JANUARY 1-21, 2024
Welcome to the transformative journey of the 21 Days of Prayer! We will kick off on January 1, 2024 with a greeting and prayer from our lead pastors. During the rest of the 21 days, we will hold online prayer services every weekday January 2nd through the 19th from 6-7am as well as three in-person services at 7pm on Wednesday, January 3, 10, & 17.
On January 1st, be watching social media as we embark on 21 days of intentional prayer and reflection. Each day beginning January 2nd, we’ll meet online and explore different aspects of God’s favor, guided by the powerful Gospel of Luke. Through this, we will deepen our understanding of His favor, see it manifest in our lives, and become carriers of His love and grace.
This season of prayer is for everyone, regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey. Let’s come together as one church family, seeking God’s favor and embracing the abundant blessings He has in store for us.
May this year’s 21 Days of Prayer be a time of renewal, clarity, and personal and collective growth. We anticipate divine encounters, life-changing wins, and a deepening of our faith. Together, we will step into a “Time of Favor” that will leave a lasting legacy in our lives and community. Welcome to a Year of Divine Favor.
Your personal fast should present a level of challenge, but it is very important to know your body, your options, and most importantly, to seek God in prayer and follow what the Holy Spirit leads you to do.
