PROGRAM & SCHEDULE

(2026–2027)

We will have a mixed-age preschool classroom. Teachers will design activities and materials with multiple levels of challenge so each child can participate at their own developmental pace while sharing the same space. Younger children will benefit from observing and imitating older peers, while older children will gain confidence, leadership, and empathy as they model skills and help younger classmates.

 

Days per Week:

  • 3-year-olds: three day or five day options available
  • 4-year-olds: five day program

 

Hours:
9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m.  or 9:00a.m. – 3:00p.m.

 

Calendar Notes:

  • First day of school: September 9, 2026
  • Last day of school: June 5, 2027
  • Legacy Preschool generally follows the Farmington Public Schools calendar for major holidays and weather-related closures.

HOW REGISTRATION WORKS

Open enrollment for September 2026 has begun. Registration continues until classes are full; after that, we maintain a waitlist and contact families as openings arise.

Step 1 – Schedule a tour (optional but encouraged). 

Visit Legacy Preschool, see the classrooms, and meet the staff.


Step 2 – Complete the online registration form. 

Use the “Start Registration for Sept 2026” button to submit your child’s information and select your preferred program.

 

Step 3 – Pay the registration fee. 

Your child’s spot is reserved once the registration form and non-refundable $100 registration fee are received.

 

Step 4 – Submit required forms

This includes health and immunization forms, emergency contacts, and any allergy or medication plans.

 

Step 5 – Confirmation and Welcome Packet

You will receive an email confirming your child’s enrollment, along with a welcome packet and calendar.

OUR CHRIST-CENTERED APPROACH

Legacy Preschool is rooted in the statement of faith and values of Legacy Church. Children experience God’s love through Bible stories, prayer, worship, and daily interactions with caring teachers. We welcome families from a variety of church and faith backgrounds while clearly and joyfully expressing our Christian identity.

Daily faith practices may include:

  • Short Bible stories and simple memory verses.
  • Prayer at snack time and during class.
  • Worship songs and age-appropriate chapel experiences.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

Legacy Preschool serves children ages 3–5. Children must be 3 years old by January 1st of the year following enrollment in school or 4 years old by January 1st of the year following enrollment.

We offer a 3-day and 5-day option for 3-year-olds and a 5-day program for 4-year-olds. All classes run from 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m., with an extended-day option which runs until 3:00p.m.  We also offer early drop-off at 8:00a.m. for an additional fee.

The school year begins on September 9, 2026 and ends on June 5, 2027. Legacy Preschool generally follows the Farmington Public Schools calendar for major holidays and weather-related closures.

We offer high-quality early childhood education with flexible scheduling options to fit your family’s needs.

Tuition rates vary based on program hours and enrollment choices.

Children are expected to be fully potty trained. Please contact us if you have questions about your child’s readiness.

For the health of all children and staff, we ask that children stay home if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other contagious symptoms. Children may return after being symptom-free for 24 hours without medication, or as advised by a healthcare provider.

Please list all allergies and medical needs on your child’s forms. We work with families to develop appropriate plans and follow clear procedures for medication, EpiPens, or other needs.

We integrate faith naturally throughout the day—through prayer, songs, Bible stories, character lessons, and the way we speak and care for one another—reflecting the love of Christ in age-appropriate ways.

Parents are welcome to be involved in classroom activities, special events, and field trips, as policies and schedules allow. Please speak with the director about opportunities to serve.

If your plans change after enrollment, please contact the preschool office as soon as possible. Tuition and fees are handled according to our current withdrawal policy, which will be provided in your enrollment packet.

With a heart for children and a passion for Christian education, Patty steps into the role of Director at Legacy Preschool with a wealth of experience in both parenting and leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and has raised three children who are now thriving young adults. Over the years, she has served in various roles that reflect her dedication to nurturing young minds and supporting families—including serving as a MOPS Coordinator, church nursery volunteer, and PTA member for over a decade. Her experience also includes homeschooling her children for 4 years, substitute teaching and her current position on the board of Cornerstone Educational Support, Inc. Patty is committed to fostering a Christ-centered environment where children feel loved, supported, and inspired to grow.
